Staycation-ing in the Capital City

So, I decided I write too often to not share my thoughts, so here goes. I find myself with too much down time, in the process of "staycation"-ing here in the capital city, Albany. Personally, I needed to get away from certain people, places, and things. My life truly became unmanageable, and every thing seemed to be feeding into my misery. I spent the holidays alone, away from friends and family. I had no problem with this, as I'm learning that I need to start over with new people. I'm still aware of my surroundings, but open to new things. I will take any suggestions on relocation. How did you spend your winter holiday?
